Resistance Pier Systems
Resistance Pier Systems have been used to restore and/or stabilize homes and commercial structures that had settled. True end-bearing resistance piers are sold and installed only by certified installing contractors and authorized to recommend and provide appropriate solutions to a wide range of soil problems.
First, the Pier Pipe is driven to a firm load-bearing stratum.
Second, the lift equipment is combined with a manifold system to lift the structure.
Resistance piers are spaced at adequate centers where each pier is driven to a suitable stratum required to lift the structure. Installation is accomplished with pre-calibrated equipment which automatically provides a real time reading of pressure. The measured pressure is converted to load and documented, providing a verified actual load. This procedure effectively load-tests each pier prior to lift and provides a measured factor of safety on each pier at lift.
Spark’s Concrete Lifting is a certified installing contractor for Resistance Pier Systems.
