Compaction Grouting

Compaction Grouting

Compaction Grouting is the process of injecting a stiff mortar-like grout into the ground where the grout does not enter the pores of the soil but rather displaces and compacts it as the grout mass expands. The injection process can be continued on a controlled basis until lift requirements have been achieved.

Compaction Grouting eliminates the need for costly tear-out and replacement as well as lengthy

down time.

Compaction Grouting is used for lifting and stabilizing heavy structures such as:

  • Buildings
  • Equipment foundations/pads
  • Bridge Approach
  • Roadways
